Question 2

How is the US2000 funding rate calculated?

Accepted Answer

The funding rate is calculated based on the difference between the perpetual contract price and the spot price, combined with a fixed interest rate component. Each exchange uses its own formula, but the fundamental mechanism is the same across platforms.

Question 3

What does a positive vs negative funding rate mean for US2000?

Accepted Answer

A positive funding rate means long position holders pay short position holders, indicating bullish sentiment. A negative rate means shorts pay longs, indicating bearish sentiment. Traders can use this as a sentiment indicator for US2000.

Question 4

Accepted Answer
